Al Ain Loses to Al Rayyan in AFC Champions League

The football team "Al-Ain", holding the title of champion, continues its disappointing performances in the AFC Champions League. Today, on Monday, the team suffered a defeat by a score of 1-2 against the Qatari club "Rayyan" at their home ground in the Hazaa bin Zayed Stadium within the framework of the group stage. The team now has only two points after seven matches, and they have one game left against the Iraqi club "Shurtan".

Al-Ain made fatal mistakes in defense, leading to two goals in the second half, and its players could not capitalize on the chances to get back into the game. "Rayyan" tactically outplayed Al-Ain and managed to secure the match to strengthen their chances of advancing to the playoffs.

The referee disallowed a goal due to offside, scored by the Marakkan player Sofyan Rehimi in the 24th minute, as well as another goal scored by Mohammadi Audala in the 34th minute for the same reason. However, the players of "Al-Ain" did not give up and managed to narrow the gap to 1-2 in the 42nd minute thanks to a goal from the Paraguayan midfielder Alehandro Kaku after an assist by Sofyan Rehimi.

At the beginning of the second half, the guests equalized the score due to a goal from Mahmud Trezeguet in the 50th minute following an assist from Murad Nadji, who easily probed beyond the line of defense. Mistakes in defense by "Al-Ain" continued, and the guests took advantage of one of them to score for the third time in the 75th minute, thanks to Rodger Gedesh, who capitalized on a chaos in the defense and formed a winning goal.
